Wireless router reboots sporadically

    I just installed a wireless router on my cable modem to PC connection so my kids can use their laptops when they visit.

    The PC is an HP Pavilion HPE

    The router is a D-Link N300

    OS is Windows 7 Home Premium version 6.1

    The problem is that the router seems to reboot itself every hour or two, causing a loss of internet service for a few minutes at a time.

    Any ideas on this? Any more info required?
