Wireless router to redirect to a website upon connecting?

We are looking to install a wireless router in our small community center to give visitors access to wifi. This connection will be open to the public and would like to have the ability open a website as soon as they connect. Mainly an informational site about the center. We are thinking a Cisco wireless router. Any suggestions on which router to get?

 

You're likely to get a LOT of differing opinions on which brand, model, etc. would be "best" for your purposes. I've read both good AND bad reviews of Cisco routers (depending on model). Price/features of said router is one consideration.

Additional considerations would be the fact that you're setting up a wi-fi hotspot similar to a Public Library so, you'd need to take into consideration the fact that "underage" children may be using the connection and need to restrict or prohibit software downloads/sites access to prevent your clients from downloading malware.

 

Our firewall prevents inappropriate content. Also the website that will load will have some sort of EULA.

In you opinion which router (make and model) do you think would accomplish this the easiest?

Wanted to get a captive portal option on this router. Flashed it with.

DD-WRT v24-sp2(7/22/09) micro

Navigated to Services>Hotspot

Nothing there but http redirect option. Could some post a link to the exact firmware I would need to flash this router with a wifidog or other open source captive portal feature.
