wireless router

hello

I just purchased a netgear wnr2000 300 mbps wireless router. small problem
I have a dell notebook, toshiba notebook, WII game system, apple computer.
All of my equipment picks up the router, except for my toshiba notebook. it tells me something about validating. Now if i install the old router 802.11g 54 mbps. It picks it up no problem. Now can i have two wirless routers hooked up. Or can someone help me with the validating issue. I did setup a passcode so it is protected. Can someone help.
