    Greetings,
Thank you all for allowing me to be a member of this web site.
I want to set up a wireless router to handle both internet and a wireless printer.I have a Toshiba Satellite notebook with 3 gigs of ram and 225 gigs of memory. It also is set up for wireless use as well as a cat5 port. I don't have a wireless printer, but I do have an old D Link wireless router that may or may not be compatible with my Windows Vista,(Home Premium), operating system. How do I set this up, and what will I need for hardware,(obviously need a printer).:confused:confused:confused:confused:confused

The router does not have to be compatible with the operating system. So, basically you want a wifi router, but are you asking what is the best brand, or what will work for you. Starters, who is your service provider for your Internet.

There is a list of comparisons for various routers at http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/lanwan/router-charts/view
