im sure this is here somewhere, but if im going to be getting a wireless router to link my laptop and desktop , with file sharing ( papers and powerpoints, no music or videos) can i get away with just using a B or do i need to get a G? i know the difference is just the speed but i didnt know if papers and projects would need that much time to travel, or if the G is more for music and video transfer.

    thanks.

IMHO, G would be cooler, but documents and the like are very small and will transfer quickly, so to pinch pennies, B will be fine. Odds are your internet is no where near as fast as B either.
