Wireless Secure

Yes you click the small Wireless icon in your system tray, bit by clock and it lists all available wireless's within range just look for yours and hover your mouse over the green strenght bar and it will tell you in a box the security type and if you are WEP, WPA or WPA2 etc then you are secure.

Also you can enter the Network and Sharing Center and check, just right click the tray wireless icon and choose open Network and Sharing Center, or get to it my typing that line into Start Search box, then click on the left side Manage Wireless Networks and you will see the security status for your network.


Have you lost your password? or just want to view it? then in the Manage Wireless Networks window double click your connection and a box will appear, click the Security Tab and then tick the show characters box and it will show.
