Lets say I have a network with a wireless router and I have 2 computers hooked up by ethernet jacks on the back of the router and a laptop and gaming console connected via wifi.

I understand that wifi connections are vulnerable to attack unless strong security is used such as wpa or wpa2. If a lesser secure encryption was used such as wep or would all the machines on the router be more vulnerable (including the ones connected via ethernet cable), or would just the wifi connected devices be less secure.

The Wireless would be the connetion that is compromised.

However if the person can logon to your Wireless he/she can use the your Internet connectin, and if the Files Sharing is On there would ve access to you Hard Drives as well.
