    Hi Guys

Have a slight problem that I would like some help with.

Wanadoo broadband with Wanadoo wireless router which I am trying to connect 2 laptops to. Can do this quite happily when I don't enable security however as soon as I enable security I can only get one of the laptops to connect.

1st laptop is running Windows XP with a belkin 56g pcmcia wireless card.

2nd is running WinME with a Belkin 56g USB dongle.

Both Belkin products are brand new but the one on the ME laptop will only allow 40 or 80bit WEP security and the XP one 64 or 128bit WEP or WAP.

What settings should I be using to enable both laptops to connect with security enabled (other than binning the ME machine)?

Sorry if I am, being slightly vague on the specific hardware but the machines are not in front of me at presenr.

You are going to have to match up security schemes.
Sounds like the USB adapter supports the older WEP protocol.
There are 2 levels of WEP and 2 levels of WPA, plus PSK and AES in WPA.
Can you exchange the USB if it was just purchased?
