Why am I not getting the full 11 MB a second promised in the wireless contract?

I have the router hooked to the PC with an ethernet cable, router to wall with phone line.

    I am downloading at 60 KB\sec

if the router is an 11mb/s router, thats talking about private network speed, not internet speed.

The task manager gives it a top speed of 100 MB a second.

The contract states I get 11 MB a second internet speeds.

I am not sure how fast the contract is moving when I am flailing it around in a fit of rage at the lack of steady service.

Wireleless throughput will never be at posted speeds.

For example 802.11b at 11Mbps, only gets about 4-5 Mbps actual throughput give or take.
