wireless with vista 64 bit

    I'm a student. normally I connect with an Ethernet cable but now I have gone home i require wireless access.

    I understand there is some difficulty with just buying a normal pci wlan card.

    If I need to use a usb thingy that is fine but I don't want to buy something to find out it will not work.

    will any usb dongle work or do I need a 64 bit one?
    will any PCI card work or do I have to worry about 64 bit and anything else?

    Uhhh i suggest the usb they work the best for me... but whatever it's your choice. X]

    one review says it comes in five versions and only one supports 64 bit XP so I'd avoid Belkin because your chance of getting the 64 bit is 20%.

    hard to believe that everyone is rating the same device. Some love it; others hate it. Some say it works in Vista while others say it won't work in XP. I have to wonder about the ability of some posters to deal with a network. I really can't tell if it works for Vista 64 bits.

    first review says it doesn't work with a 64 bit OS.

    Before you buy any dongle, google it and look for reviews to see if you can get a firm, yes it works or no it doesn't.
