I have a broadcom 802.11g wireless card in my acer notebook that connects to a dlink mac enabled wpa2 encryption key. I use to have no problems connecting to the router but every time i try connecting its searching for network address even though its excellent strength. I tried reinstalling the driver but that doesnt work. And there are no firmware upgrades to my router. Any suggestions?

Try to repair the TCP/IP in Windows. I'm assuming you have Windows XP. Use this link to download a TCP/IP and Winsock repair tool, or use the steps in this article to attempt the repair manually....

Try a USB wireless stick. Maybe the built in chip is going bad.
