WLAN/WAN Gaming

    I have three PCs in my house all running XP
    I have a wireless router and all of my computers are connected to the internet through it.
    If i try to play a game there is an option for Lan, and online play.
    How do I go about making a WAN game?

    WAN = Wide Area Network

    Think Lan, but larger....Like state to state.
