WLM keeps my one message hostage...

Hello, I have Windows 7, Windows Live Mail BETA 2011, and IE8.

I hope someone has and knows well Windows Live Mail? It has caused me all along a number of incredible glitches, but right now I’m desperate to resolve only the following glitch if possible, then will try to switch to Thunderbird:

1. I wrote a message and when I clicked to send it as usual to my list of email addresses, this appeared: “No matches found for [it showed one of the email addies from my recipients list]”.

2. I clicked on OK nothing happened, then on save, and then on X to delete...but it reappears with the same message and the next name from my recipients list. And each time a little wheel goes round and round and NOTHING can be clicked on while this wheel is in motion!

3. It did the same in all of my 4 Identities when I moved it there (it happens only with this message; had no problem with the other messages). For fear of losing it I duplicated it in each of my Identities while, again, trying to send, but because it doesn’t let me delete or send or save, all 4 of these have been in my task bar, at the bottom. This is the 3rd day I have them there so restarting didn’t help.

4. I can open the Home page and work on other messages, but not on this one. Each time I try to either send or delete or save this msg, it always keeps showing the next and the next and the next recipient email, and that little wheel keeps going round and round which interferes as described.

I can’t even copy it to my MS Word as it just doesn’t let me...I didn’t try printing as this won’t help. If you need to see a screenshot I'll do it...if it lets me!

I hope someone who might have had a similar experience help please?

I'm sorry I don't know how to do this. Do you mean to save your answer to my email profile...at MajorGeeks? Is it the same if I copied to my MS Word or printed it so I can follow it?

No, not a web based, the dominion is "@rcn.com".

Should I backup my stuff before installing, uninstalling or switching the 2 programs? When you say "add your account/s back..." does it mean I am to do this for each of my 4 Identity accounts?

I have Avast free version and it frequently updates its definitions but I'll disable it. (Last night I ran a full scan with Malwarebytes and it didn't find anything so, no spies...)

This, I will do for sure as I can't tolerate WLM any more!

Hello David, I guess I must've overwhelmed you with my questions and all, but just wanted to let you know that the WLM forum said, after one month of posting my problem, that it is now a "known issue and being worked on".

Thanks so very much for trying to help me. Now all I have to do is backup and switch to Thunderbird so I can start working on a normal program.
