WMP 11 in program list twice???

    Hi,
    I am probably showing my ignorance but...

    in my Add/Remove Program list i have:

    Windows Media Format 11 runtime
    Windows Media Player 11

    one after the other.

    The thing that caught my attention is that they are both taking up 11.7 MB and both have "Last Used On 14/02/2009" despite the fact i have used windows media player hundreds of times since then.

    Is this anything to be concerned about?

    Hi Trent

    Nope nothing to be concerned about as the WMP11 Runtime is the audio/video codecs for Windows Media files, dont uninstall. Never trusted the last used notification as dont think it every worked accuratly.

    I am not really flash knowing what today's date is but i was a little concerned if i couldn't get the month right rolleyes
