wmp 9 concerning clean install

I did a clean install and was wondering if i have to run wmp 9 before even attempting to install wmp 10. If i don't then i got a second q. i installed it and it doesn't show as a program on add.remove programs in control panel. It also doesn't have a uninstall in the folder. HOw can i uninstall it. I really at the end of the day want less clutter so am wondering if upgrading from 9 to 10 would be worse than just installing 10. I just did a clean install and want as little upgrading on inital programs as possible. If it sounds like a stupid q., sorry but just humore me please. Thank u!

 

When you install wmp 10 it should uninstall 9 at the same time.
