    Just after I updated to WMPv11, (Win XP PRO) I noticed something strange.
    While in the "Now Playing" mode, I get the following in green letters in the upper left hand side of the Player.

    [Audio Tract:
    Input Description 48000 Hz,stereo pcm (uncompressed)
    Current input bit rate 0 kbps]

    It happens with any movie I have saved on my PC.
    Tried a DVD Recored by me & a Commercial DVD, they play without issue.

    Again the only thing that has changed was the upgrade to V11, all the files & movies are as they where prior to v11.

    It sits on top of whatever is playing, I tried to capture it with "Snagit", but strangely it will not copy.

    I never had this with WMP10, I removed V11 & removed v11 runtime too. Reinstalled v10 now I am getting it on v10 also.

    I have checked all the options & settings on my pc but can not find what is causing it to display.

    Any suggestions??

    I found my own answer;
    I have "VistaCodePack" installed

    It has a Audio Decoder Configuration "Debug Option" enabled.

    After removing the option; issue resolved.

    Thanks anyway
