When Im using windows media player 9, sometimes the monitor its on will turn black, and not show anything.

I am running dual monitors, on a GeForceFX5900 (stock clock when not gaming), using the 52.16 drivers. Im using Nview to organize the dual monitors (horizontal span). The monitor that I leave media player on to play music is the second monitor, plugged into the DVI port (through the provided CRT adaptor).

The problem is essentially random, and can happen at any time, but often going for long stints with no worries. All I have to do is ctrl-alt-del and shut down media player, and I get my monitor back.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Did it do it with the older drivers?

Cant say that I remember, Ive been using the 52.13's for quite awhile.
If it is the latest drivers, ill live with it because of the massive performance increase/quality increase.

Im just wondering if there could be a possible fix for it.

My only suggestion is to reinstall the display drivers...see if that works.
