    I have a Win2k Pro system with Virtumundo/ALTEvents problem that many others are encountering. I have followed the steps of "Do not post...Spyware, Trojan, and Virus Removal", and have run Hijack This. When comparing my log to many of the other posts, I removed 4 O2 - BHO: CATLEvents entries, but when I restarted (in safe mode) Ad-Aware found Virtumundo again (ALTEvents in the registry). I have been trying to remove this from this computer for weeks using Ad-Aware, Spybot, and today the items I found on this forum. The past two days I have noticed that performance was INCREDIBLY slow (the system has only been booted in Safe Mode), and in Task Manager WMS.exe was taking almost all of the CPU Resources, and now has caused the computer to lock up. Could this be related to the Virtumundo problem?
