what kind of specs do you have on the 9000? And how much? And i need to have someone tell me if it will work on this PC. :D
    Quick before they move this:
    550 mh pentium III
256 mem, I don't know what else you need :)

Okey dokey. That should keep you busy for at least 10 minutes.

It's an older DirectX 8 capable card. Would probably be a pretty good match for your P-III 550.

Do you do any gaming? If so, what games? Newer ones need a lot of horsepower, from both the video card and the cpu, but if you're just doing non-gaming things, you may not see any benefit from a new vid card. What vid card do you have now?

It's really old, GT, ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP 2X.
That's why I think I have so much problem with the pc crashing on flash sites. Even in the arcade it will do it.
Also why I want to add another 256 stick of memory.
I have had this discussion a couple of times in the hardware forum and in drivers too_One of the reasons I ended up here. But no one warned me "you can never leave"! LOL!

Kiwi - Its an AGP 4x um... idk much else for specs but it did good for me, just had to upgrade for those newer games (friggen farcry...). oh it has a composite video out too, but i never liked that much, made my TV look weird.

Fraunzonk how did you make your icon!?

Its a combination of Microangelo Animator and Jasc Animation shop 3. I use Microangelo to make the icon (they have a nice program for it) but it only saves in .ani format. So I open the .ani file in Jasc and save it as a .gif . the combination works very well.

Hi Maxwell I think you helped me with this in the hardware thread, I think we are the only two people with this card!
    Driver is 5.02195.5013
I hate drivers, when I install new programmes and then look at the version and stuff or try and update, I always seem to end up with the M$ version. I will have to ask in the Drivers forum what I am doing wrong. (After I search of course. I love kitties:) )

Actually, this is a graphics chip rather than a card.

How did you obtain that version number? Was it from the Control Panel/System and viewing the Driver properties of the display adapter under the Device Manager tab.

Under details it says Driver file Ati2drad.dll
    Release Version J5.30.1-B02
Under driver files there are lots.
