word 2000 borders

hey,
i'm using xp & word 2000
i'm trying to put a border on an 81/2 x 11 sheet in landscape orientation.
if i look at print preview and/or actually print the page, the last piece of border doesn't print.
prints fine in protrait mode.
i checked that the paper is feeding properly and my printer has the current drivers.
any suggestions?????

I had this same problem. It was happening because one of the lines was outside the printing range of the printer I was using.

In Word 2000 anyway, the default position for the page border is 24 pt in from the edge of the page. You can try increasing that number until the whole border prints.

i actually did try that, thinking that would be most obvious and what word help recommended, but although it did make it better, it still did not entirely print.
