    Hi All,

I regularly use a format style which numbers lines automatically. Adding a line before or after automatically adds the number in and updates all the following numbers.

However, there are times when editing the final document, when I would like to make these numbers permanent so they don't update when I add in another line.

Is there a way I can do this?

    cheers

Maybe , if when you know you don't want the numbers to 'update' anymore, you could save the document under a different name?
Then the previous 'style' might not 'kick in'
    I'm just guessing here.
