I have been dealing with this issue for quite some time. When I am writing a document using Word 2010 and I use the copy and paste feature it sometimes causes the program to crash. It drives me crazy. A pop up window says that the program has stopped responding and must shut down. Then another window pops up asking if I want to send information. If I don't click on send information, I lose the document that I have been working on. If I click on send information it finds some of the latest versions of the document and I can reopen it after the program restarts.
I thought it might be the Adobe Reader program so I uninstalled it and started using Foxit. That seemed to work for a while but it is doing it again.

Ive read and tried many of the fixes that I could find online but none of them seemed to solve the problem. Maybe you guys can help.
I am attaching a copy of the Belarc Analysis that I ran on my computer.
Hopefully you will be able to find the problem.
    Thank you,
    Diana

I don't know about fixing Office 2010 but you might want to press Ctrl+S every few minutes. This saves a copy of what you are working on so if it hiccups, you will not have lost much of your document.

Have you tried repairing? Here is a step by step with pictures

Here are two more commands to try:
1.The Cleanviews command will reset the application views to it's default settings, use this command to see if changes you have made to your views have caused any issues.
You can open a Microsoft Office application by going to Start > Run and typing the following: <application name> /cleanviews
so you'd type in Word /cleanviews

    2. Safe Mode starts the program in what is known as native mode with all add-ins, customisations and the reading pane turned off.
If you want to open a Microsoft Office application in Safe Mode simply open up the Start Menu and click on Run then type: <application name> /safe
    so you'd type Word /safe

I have tried to repair Office and have even reinstalled it. Still crashes.

When I try the other options - of running Word in safe mode or cleanviews - it doesn't work.
I have windows Vista. When I click Start - Run - Word /safe or Word /cleanviews I get an error that says "Windows cannot find Word. Make sure that you have typed it correctly and try again."

    Thanks for your help.
