Word 97 errors with kernel32.dll

    Hi
    If i try and open Word 97 my computer says that Word has performed an illegal operation in kernel32.dll and that it has to close and then it says that this action has been restricted because of the effects on the computer.
    I have windows 98 48Mb of ram 1.3GB hard drive 133MHz Office 97
