Word, Microsoft One Drive Causing Change Of Fonts

Since One Drive has seemed to take over all my document saving I'm having a strange issue.
Create doc in word, save to One Drive, open doc & save to Adobe professional. At this point it saves not as a PDF but like notepad with scripting.
When I open Word doc the font has automatically changed to Aptos. I always use Roman Time, Arial, etc.
I'm thinking I need to find something in the word settings to reset but don't see anything.

I think the issue is One Drive (which the more I use it the less I like it) has its own fonts which are not compatible with Adobe.
Anyone find a reasonable font that works for both?
