    Hey all,

I thought it would be "easier" to utilize WordPad for our band's set lists cuz that way everyone should have a copy of it on their 'puter. Well in Windows 7 version, it's frustrating me to death. I change the page settings and save a file and every friggin' time, I have to go in and change them when I "re-open" the file. Sooo, I thought, ok, somehow there's a default page setting, and I need to change it to what I use most frequently. Can't find it anywhere -- I've looked on the net and in Microsoft's website (useless). Any suggestions OR has anyone else run into this issue? :confused

    Thanks,

    Cherie

    Hello,
That is a know problem in Windows 7. Open up Wordpad and change the page settings to what you want. Then save it as a blank document. Open up that blank document instead of opening Wordpad through the menu.

Or you can try the Word Processor AbiWord. It is very powerful and is a very small download.
