   Hi, I got emailed a document but I don't know how to read it. The document is just a small white file, when I double click it in the email browser I get a box that says "this is a wordpad document. open with wordpad MFC application" and when I try to open it I get an error message saying "unable to load graphics conversion filter" Does anyone know of a program that'll read this?

   Hi
   
   What is the file extention of this attachment as in .doc, .txt etc?
   
   Try with a backup copy of the file to set its default opening application to say MS Word if you have it, right click and then choose Open With > Choose Default Program ( untick the always open with box so that you dont defaultly open all the files with this extention with Word ) if not have Word then one of the Office Viewers may help.
