Wordpad Options Missing

Hi
Within the last few days some of my options like format painter etc are missing from the quick access bar in Wordpad. There is no longer an option to add any new commands from within Wordpad at all. There seems to be no information available after a long web search on how to resolve this. All the options were there a few days ago so could it have happened during the recent Windows update? I use Wordpad a lot so I would appreciate any help. Thanks

 

What version of Windows are you running?

Hi plodr. Thanks for the info. I have uninstalled but now can't reinstall as getting Error code 0x80070490.

 

Apparently that error is a Windows update error.

Thanks. Followed that link and unstall/ reinstall done but it doesn't seem much different regarding the options. Shame it was handy but I will just use a full Word doc from now on.

Thanks Eldon. Just downloaded it's got far more features than Wordpad.
