wordPad problems

    I'm trying to find a program that will recover wordpad or notepad documents that were saved. My computer kept cycling thru the choices...safe mode, w/networking, w/ command promt, etc... but no matter what I would chose it kept cycling back to start up. So I installed another version of XP Pro on it but I can't recover the docs. So I need a program that will recover my lost docs.

    I've tried VirtualLab which got all of my pics back but no docs. So then I tried Recover Files but it didn't recover any of my docs. Now I'm running File Recover and I'm not sure if that is going to work either.

    PLEASE HELP!!!:cry

    Hi

    You could try this file recovery app thats free to use http://www.majorgeeks.com/Recuva_-_File_Recovery_d5514.html sadly if a file is corrupted or for some reason deleted the HD block will be allocated as free so the more the PC is used the more likely that the hd block that housed the file will be overwritten.
