How do you "save as" with this program. The drop down box does not want to work. I am trying to save a new document as .rtf so the recipient who does not have the program can still read it.

You can't select the "Save As" option from the "File" menu? If not try pressing the "Function 3"[F3] key while the cursor is active in the document. At that point you should be able to select "rtf" from the file type sub-menu as in the thumbnail below. If neither of those work, don't know what to say.

 

It worked on the desktop so it must have beeen a faulty install whch I will attend to.
