Work server currently down

Just so you know, at least one of the Work servers are currently down, so you won't be getting any new work

 

Just so you know, its been sorted - in fact it was sorted quite some time ago, about an hour after the first post.

 

actually goldy there are MANY servers. So if one goes down that dose not mean you can't recieve work units.

 

I know. If one of them goes down, it takes a while for the load balancing to re-route traffic, so a certain percentage of connections will fail for that time. So it will affect people.

When a server goes down, they need to set the load balancing to reject connections to that machine, and they only update their stats every hour or so.

 

yes but your statement said

so do you take that back? because SOME users won't be able to get work. If you ever watch the site of the link you gave a server goes down every once and awhile, SOME people just have to wait until it comes back up.

I've noticed a few folders are gaining on me and I will do my best to make it a challange.
The weather is starting to cool down some here at around 78 degrees fahrenheit,fall season to start soon.
