worked out constant calls from callcenters

I get calls every afternoon for hours from telemarketers trying to sell me something I already have. I have started answering just saying ola. no compra.
Have only had 4 calls this evening and they have stopped, I am waiting for someone who speaks spanish to call. ha ha its creole

Thanks Laura. I dont know that much creole. I lived in Mauritius for a while, picked up the basics. I am waiting for a replies.

I just tell them, "I don't own it, (the house), the bank does - so ring them". Which is true, lol!:confused Or I ask them for their number so I can randomly ring them up. When they refuse, I tell them "now you know how I feel" and hang up. A private No. gets rid of most nuisance calls.

 

Since switching to a cell phone, and cutting the land line, I don't think I have gotten on call in a year that was not someone I know. Well, a couple of wrong numbers...
