Unbelievable He must have ben doing 200mph just to take off,it really moved in the air too those two stroke engines sound really high strung I wonder how long the pistons last?prolly has to change them after nearly every flight

 

Little more info its a homebuilt kit called the cri cri.

Those looked like stock engines to me, I'll be they have more life than you think. Thing is, they would require an external electric starter if they are what I think they are.

 

Large scale nitro engines?Found these two pages it seems some people use nitro model engines but the stock ones with the original kit stihl chainsaw engines 8hp each,some have also used model turbine engines

After he landed he ran the engine to completely dry it of fuel so i'm guessing he's using nitro as you probably know you have to run them dry or it rots the gaskets and seals

 

Plane? Seems more like CPU cooling system to me. And I thought my fans were noisy
