WOT Firefox add-on

I just found (and installed) the WOT (Web of Trust) add-on to my Firefox 3.0.5 browser, and I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with that add-on...any thoughts, concerns, and so forth. Their home page is:

Hi Amethyst_08! I have been using WOT with Firefox for the longest time and I like it. I have NO problems with it and the resources it uses is next to none. It's especially nice when you Google something, it lets you know whether the site is safe or not. I used that MacAffe (SP?) for Firefox that supposed to do the same thing WOT does, but I found that really unreliable. It threw up a red flag when I entered MGs!!! Granted, that only happened once, but that was enough for me! I imagine that any program like that is not totally 100% accurate, but so far WOT has been the best one I used. Hope that answers your question!

Yup, I've been using WOT for a while and like it, although I didn't register since for me it's a privacy concern. Let others do the evaluations of the websites/links.

I replaced siteadvisor, which has fallen down badly, with WOT a few months ago.

I don't know if McAfee has fixed it yet but for many months, they were indicating a site promoting XP AV 2008/2009 (a known malware program) with a green/safe rating. They were contacted about it and it was not changed.
Once I discovered that, I removed site advisor from my windows computers and replaced it with WOT.

Thanks, everyone, for your responses. I've installed WOT on the laptop and I'm not noticing any kind of slowdown at all in browsing. I'll put it on the desktop PC as well and see how it goes.
