Wow cool Vista !!!

    Microsoft has completed development and testing of Windows Vista and has released the final code of the program to manufacturing, they are committing to a January 30, 2007 release date.

    What can I do with my release copy of this program at that time, what do I need to do ?

    Or that the OP would like to know what's going to happen with the RTM copies available legally to users with a MSDN or Technet subscription come Jan 30th???

    I'm curious myself, and I've only ever got a CPP beta copy, that was released to the general public.

    If you have an RC1 or RC1 copy as part of CPP then it will work until 30th June 07 at which time it will cease to work fully.

    Ahhh, JUNE? Nice! I really haven't got as much time to play with it as I would have liked.

    I assume the same is for the RTM copies?

    And will there be ways of re-enabling features in your RC or RTM copy if you buy a retail copy, or will you have to perform another installation/upgrade?

    Ok but I wanted to know will the program let me know of the impending "cease to work fullyness" and give me options to buy and or other options ?

    Typically, Microsoft shuts it down. It would be best to buy it before it expires and give yourself some room :)
