Wow...it's only taken congress 2 years!! I'm impressed!!

I'm assuming that some of you have watched and/or seen bits and pieces of this thing DATELINE has been doing with online predators of young children...

Well it started a couple of years ago, and finally congress decided to make a big deal out of it!! Today Chris Hansen, the host of Dateline NBC, is testifying, along with many others, is testifying before congress today, about this whole ordeal he has been investigating for awhile!!

I have heard them talking on the radio about that show "To Catch a Predator", but I never remembered that it was on. They actually did it about 45 minutes away from where I live. I agree that those people need help....

 

They can't be helped for the most part as they have a %95 recidivism rate and it's probably higher than that because they're getting smarter. They eliminate the principal witness these days. I'm glad that NBC has finally embarassed your congress enough to at least seem to be doing something. Lock them up until they walk with canes.

You do have to forgive congress as they've been hard at work trying to pass estate tax reform, constitutionally ban gay marriage and flag burning, and of course getting agonizingly involved in the Terry Schiavo debacle.

 

That is true...I forgot about all those other OVERLY pressing issues they've had to deal with!!!!
