Wow, mxtoolbox is freaking awesome!

My mom's email hosting has been jerking her around telling her that her email being sent to spam in webmail and deleted locally is her problem and not their fault. The email is being sent to ANOTHER employee on the same mail server.

So I went to mxtoolbox.com, dropped in her domain name, clicked check blacklist on the mx record, and viola! She was blacklisted on it.


I'd love to see those wannabe techs try to weasel their way out of this one.

Whatever moron added her to the blacklist did a half-*** job at it, and just blacklisted anyone with her last name on their mail servers. You would think they would have been a little more specific to prevent mistakes like this.

Found one of my email services doesn't support TLS. Or at least doesn't advertise support. So now I know if sending anything sensitive to use a different service.

Plenty of tools in the "more" dropdown list.
