WoW patch 2.0.1 woes

    I just started up my WoW account again, and the first thing I encounter is that newest patch: 2.0.1. Now, I run a Windows XE Home Edition, with fully updated NVidia drivers, all that. I log into into Wow, get to the log in screen, password, and then get to the download area. The dowload goes fine, but when WoW tries to apply the patch to my game I get a prompt telling me that the patch cannot be applied because of some sort of error with the code 108. Now, the first thing I do is go to the WoW tech forum boards and look for some help, and I find a sticky:http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=54857192&sid=1

    Under issue 7, it tells me to go into my Warcraft Folder, locate the Data File, then in there locate a file named enUS. The website told me to rename this file to enUS-old, stating that when I patch again, a newer one will be made and I should be able to patch successfully. I did that, and still cannot patch WoW and log into the game.

    Can someone please help me? What should I do to make this work? Did I give you guys enough info?

    BTW, I did search your forums for a similar issue, and found none, so I started this thread. Any help would be appreciated.

    The exact error message I get is this:

    The file "C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Data/patch.MPQ" could not be renamed to "C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Data/patch.Trash"/ (Conflict::ResolveConflicts/1)

    I get this message when I try to patch through the WoW client.

    EDIT: I run Windows XP, not XE. My mistake (its late).

    Looks like your file may be locked or missing.
    Locate
    C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Data/patch.MPQ
    and right click for properties, if READONLY, unclick the box to unlock it.
    If it is missing make a dummy file with notepad and try your install again.

    Be sure you have no add-ons until you get it running in stock Blizzard form.
