Hi i was playing world of warcraft this morning and it logged me out, when i logged back in it said my password was incorrect so i tried again, it had the same responce, so i changed my password and re-logged back in to find that my account had been hacked :cry

i spoke to a game master about it and they suspended my account to look into the matter, but they want some information off me which i'm glad to give them... the problem is that i lost my original warcraft book with the serial number on it, when you install the game and enter the serial number does it store anywhere on the pc so i can retrieve it?

No, if you lost the key you are stuck. There is no storage of the key on your computer, it was only sent to the Blizzard site when you created the account. After that it does not need it.
