WoW Video Driver Problem

My brother has a Emachines Athlon 64-bit mobile with a Radeon Mobililty 9600 video chip. When installing WoW he got a video error saying to install directx 9 or upgrade video drivers. What video drivers should he use. Most drivers he trys to install give him an error message saying he doesn't have the correct hardware. Any ideas, or need any more information?

Upgrade to DX 9.0c.

 

The problem was he didn't have the drivers installed because he updated to Win XP Pro, and he doesn't have disk 3 with him that has the drivers he needs to install. I looked everywhere on the internet to download the VGA drivers that come on disk 3. His machine is a Emachines M6805 labtop.....
Any suggestion on where to find the drivers?

How hard can it be to NOT call it that? Just download the omegadrivers.

 

It's a LAPtop? I always get those things confused.....my bad

Did download those drivers, and at the end of the installation an error comes up and says no standard VGA device found...ect. ect.

 

did you use driver cleaner 3.x to remove the previous drivers? forgot to mention that one... Im using them on my m600 dell laptop w/o a problem (the omega drivers) using ati 9000 64mb non shared

 

I got the drivers off a M6811 recovery CD, and it worked.....i'm just surprises Emachines doesn't post the OEM drivers on the net. But everything works now, thanks for your help, and clearing up the whole laptop issue
