"WPN824 v2 vs. WNDr4000"

I have a WPN824 v2 that I've had for 10 years and it has worked fine but now I'm going to upgrade to the new Wndr4000 which is probably overkill but I need the 802.11N plus the dual band 2.4 and 5.0. My WPN824 v2 only has the b & g and supports the 2.4. Also, I now have 2 desktops and 2 laptops that will be running off this router!

Question: I would appreciate it if you would tell me how much faster and better and/or the differences between the two routers. I value your opinions my friends! I really am a novice when it comes to wireless router technology.
