wrapping text in Jasc PSP 8.01

i know it's old, but i don't want the "new and improved" stuff from Corel. Jasc was just perfect before they sold out, and 8 was better than 9, IMHO. the only link i found that might help wouldn't load; the other link was to wrap around an object (know how, don't want). also nothing in PSP help, that i could see.

just want a plain file with background color or transparent and black text that will wrap. adjusting the text box only warps the actual text. tried vector, raster & selection; zip, nada, zilch.

the only other thing i could do (and i'll use it if there's no other option) is to create a text box in a document, format it there, copy/paste the whole text box to my image as another layer, then merging.

any ideas? also tried IrfanView but no joy there, either.
