Hi all ive been given one of these graphics cards

i see that it has a AGP X8 interface but my motherboard only has AGP X2 interface
wiil it run ok or should i upgrade my motherboard (32mb intergrated intel graphics)

according to the link you provided on you motherboard, you don't have an AGP slot. I see it listed as 2x compliancy, but thats for the integrated chip. therefore, in order to use the card given to you, you would need to upgrade your motherboard to one that has an AGP slot. which means, you'll prob need to upgrade your processor and memory as well.

 

it does have a AGP slot on it ,is shows it on the picture but it doesn't include it in the system specifications quoted

 

2x slots, and 8x cards are physically incompatible... sorry
