WTF? Minimizing Toolbar'd-WMP Shrinks Locked TaskBar

Hey folks. I am having an issue that I have been putting up with for quite a while now.

I have a whole bunch of icons and tool bars on my primary desktop monitor. I also have WMP (11) setup to minimize it to the tool bar.

I prefer to have my task bar setup with two rows of Application Buttons, and one row for the quick launch tool bar.

Once I get my task bar setup how I like it, I lock it down. Then if I use WMP, and minimize it to it's tool bar, even through the task bar is locked, it still shrinks the task bar vertically to a two row setup vs. a three row setup. It is aggravating as H3LL.

Does anyone know of a tweak or workaround to prevent this from happening? Please advise.
