O.k. changing my rank fine...why have all my near 900 posts been deleted?

 

I mean, change the title to Fart King, fine, but all those posts, when the fun with my rank is over, do I have to start over? Is someone pissed?

Motc7, I look at the mods as a parallel to the ancient Greek gods. Perhaps you offended them somehow, or have something to atone for. Or, perhaps they just got bored and are playing with you. :-D If they reset your post count at 50, we could call you Sisyphus.

 

LOL, I know you're just joking but some people do take post counts very seriously. This one "free for all" forum that I post on had "Rep Points" for a little while. The mods there really like to pull the peoples strings there. Some posters actually stormed off when the mods would pull some of their point or slash their post counts. Lots of posters were put in Tachy goes to Coventry and so on.

I saw a thread title that said "Why in the world did Buck_nekid do what he did?" turns out everyone sees their own name in the thread title, that was good for some laughs, don't know what plug-in does that but would like to know.

 

Yeah, we've been there and done that with Rep Points, too. It got discontinued after not long for reasons, including some people thought it was a way of waging personal love/hate wars. - Most of us don't want to go there again, EVER!rolleyes
