X800gt?

What the heck? Okay, you see.. it's cheaper than a regular X800, and although it only has 8 pixel pipelines instead of the X800's 12, the X800GT's MHz are a lot faster.

X800:

12 PP
Core clock: 392MHz
Memory clock: 700MHz

X800GT:

8 PP
Core clock: 475MHz
Memory clock: 980MHz

So which is better?

apparently the x800gt is a crippled x800 .. it's just a name game, I would guess since nvidia is probably selling alot of 6600gts this is atis answer

 

anybody seen any benchmarks yet? I'd assume it should be able to beat the 6600GT.
