xbox 360 to PC ICS

Ok i've been using ICS on my current PC internet connection, and having it shared sucesfully for over 3 years now with no problems. Just last month my xbox took a dump and I had to get a new one. And now I can't manage to get my Xbox connected. I remember having similar issues the first time I got it connected, but can't remember exactly what i did to fix it. I am fairly tech savvy, or at least I like to think. I can usually figure things out by playing around but as far as networks go I'm not very fluent. I can attach a ipconfig .txt file and maybe someone can help me out. What i'm trying to do is share my PC internet connection to my Xbox thru ethernet. With both set to auto obtain IP address, My pc says the LOCAL AREA CONNECTION(xbox), IPV4-- LOCAL IPV6-- Limited
But I can't even get my xbox connected to the PC to share music, or files or anything, let alone share the network. I did contact xbox customer support, and they told me I needed a external device, like a bridge, or a hub, or something like that. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

Yeah ive tried all those. I can get it to recognize the network and connect, but the network isn't being shard. I think ive changed/disabled some services trying to figure it out and cant member what they were. I do have a WiFi router I couldn't maybe hook up to PC ethernet and see if I could share my PC connection, and rebroadcast it as wifi/lan.??

I'm unsure if this could be related but a couple months ago I changed some network permissions so my daughter could access her saved game files from my acct. On PC and play her game on the laptop. Well I finally got it to work (saved file access I mean) but in the process I disabled or restricted some access. Is there anyway I can restore all windows setting like services, and useraccount permissions to default, without a fresh install?
