Xbox core console?

well i was looking online to buy a Xbox and i found at this website http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...0001B15RA/all/ref=dp_pb_a/104-3149342-4493537 a xbox core console for $115.00, (its the second one down.) well im not sure what that is. can someone tell me if there is a difference betweem a Xbox core console and a Xbox?

On the page you linked to, click on View Product Details. That page will tell you what's included in the box. The $115 price is from a third party seller.

 

that is the one that you buy for $150.00, thats those features. the one im talking about is the one the person dominus206 is selling.

That seller says his is new, too, just like from Toys R Us. Buy from a known retailer or from an unknown reseller with no track record or rating-- that's your choice.

 

so by what he is saying it is a xbox correct?

 

It had better be, or he is misrepresenting what he is selling by listing it as the same thing you get from Toys R Us. Although you have to wonder how he's giving you three extra controllers and Halo 2 for that price.

It probably is.

 

Be VERY careful. I've had a friend burned on something like this. Read the fine print Amazon will do everything to protect itself before you. They won't refund you when the guy pulls himself off Amazon as a retailer and then they can't find him. It's very easy to be taken on something like this.

What is really scary is that he's offering you all those extras. Halo 2 is a $50 game in itself.

I agree with the other guys. Something stinks here.
