    Keeping it short here.

We're getting closer i think, but how would i get sound with that cable?

The sound source is from the device and there is no way to feed it in to the Dsub15 interface as this conection type does not support audio. The red and white RCA plugs carry the audio and must be fed into an audio input on an amp or the display if it has them.

Would this allow me to hear sound through my PC speakers?

If your pc speakers are fed audio using the RCA audio out plugs yes. But the plugs must be pluged into an amp. You could feed the audio back in to your pc audio chip with the right adapter and configure windows to feed the input audio jack to the speaker output but it`s a lot of messing around.

What is the amp input (RCA , 3.5mm jack, wire clamp)?

Better to get an adapter for your amp that can take both inputs ( presumably 3.5mm jack from pc) and the console cable (stereo RCA) as the audio out on the cable is analog stereo.

Sorry, bear with me, i'm no good when it comes to sound stuff.

My speakers use the standard size, 3.5mm i think, its the same size as the standard headphone jack.

Could i use something like this, plug the Red and White into the PS3 cable thing and then then my speakers jack into the other end?

Yes But what conection input plug(s) does the current audio cable from the pc use (into the speaker amp).:confused

    Sorry, im losing you now.

I think 3.5mm? but i'm not sure what you are asking.

Does this link to my speakers help? (these are not my exact speakers, but are near enough, same brand and so on.

You keep referring to an "amp", where is the amp in my PC?

The amp is built in to the sub on the logitech setup i think any way the amp is where you plug the cable from the source (pc) to the speakers. The socket that the plug plugs into goes straight into an amp the sound get amplified then fed to the speakers.

    Thankyou for explaining that.
