Xbox Question

I'm pretty sure you can do this but then again I'm not. How do you load the games from the cdrom to the hardrive on the xbox so that you can just select them from the memory instead of having to load the game in each time? Then again, this might not be possible because of the protection on the cd.

 

I don't think it's possible. You can do it with music cd's though.

 

My cousin (former roommate) installed a mod chip in his Xbox and replaced the standard 7 GB (i think) hard drive with a 90 GB one... he was able to load all of his games onto that hard drive and the discs are no longer needed to play them, so it's definetely doable... not sure if you can do it with the standard hard drive and it definetely involves flashing the Xbox with a Bios and possible some other software....

 

yup, its very possible. search around g4techtv.com a bit for details, but im sure youll find it. ive seen many mahy tutorials on how to do it.

 

Yeah, this is a very widely done hardware hack. Of course you WILL void your warranty by doing this, but you can find websites that show you how to do this, and books at your local bookstore.

 

It's Possible If you have the right mod chip and hard drive that has the right programs loaded on it

 

Maybe it's xbox linux or something...
