XFAST RAM asus

    XFAST RAM asus ........... i made an 8 gig partition on my ram using this program and now i cant get rid of it , Norton ghost detects asr ramdisck and wont run backup i have done the following ..

    uninstalled via asus uninstall utility . would not uninstall

    uninstalled via add remove , would not uninstall

    deleted main folder in program files . success

    ran ccleaner , no items found in reg , doh

    removed ram partition in computer management ,

    uninstalled driver , partition gone

    restarted , partition back , doh

    unplugged pc , removed ram and cmos batt , left out 20 min , restarted , partion back , doh

    RAM is volatile memory. Everything is lost when the computer shuts down.
    Now suppose you explain where exactly you created an 8 GB partition so someone here can assist you.

    Also everything I see about XFAST RAM applies to ASRock motherboards, not ASUS.
